(Mostly) watercolour portraits
I make quite a few portraits. Some in Acrylic for special occasions (usually of my children). Some to try out new media (for example, gouache, although I do have a self-portrait in coloured biro somewhere). But most often, I like to wander over to Unsplash or Pexels, where very generous photographers allow people like me to use their photos for practice and relaxation. And I like to use clear watercolours for this. My favourite brand is Golden’s QOR colours for their modern, bright hues.
I might offer any and all of these paintings as prints some time. This will probably be in A5 or A4 size, no bigger.
